The Japanese, always at the forefront of innovative technology, now seem to have outdone themselves by devising a toilet that can be controlled by a smartphone. Designed by the Japanese firm Lixil, the toilet goes on sale early next year, which can be operated by a smartphone application, one that also tracks user's bowel movements.
